Watch a video introduction of the Dementia Friendly Life Enrichment Program, presented at the Rural Dementia Action Research (RaDAR) Summit 2021 by Jackie Washenfelder, Quality of Life Sr. Supervisor at SaskAbilities in Yorkton:
Two Dementia Friendly Facilitators will work with individuals and their families to develop person centred plans. These plans will guide personalized programming and activities that will be facilitated in the individual’s home and community. By engaging in people’s communities, the program also aims to increase overall awareness of dementia, thus creating dementia friendly communities.
The program is now accepting referrals.
